The D+H SD-O 371 is an optical smoke detector based on the tried-and-tested scattered light principle for reliable fire detection in smoke and heat extraction systems (RWA). It detects emerging smoke particles at an early stage and, in the event of a fire, triggers the connected RWA control unit. Thanks to its high reliability, the detector is suitable for use in public, commercial and industrial buildings.
The smoke detector features automatic self-monitoring, which continuously checks its function and operating status. An integrated alarm LED clearly indicates when the detector has been triggered. Thanks to automatic background level compensation, contamination is counteracted, ensuring consistently reliable detection.
Installation is quick and easy using the detector base supplied. The SD-O 371 meets the requirements of EN 54-7 and has VdS approval, making it ideally suited for use in D+H smoke and heat extraction systems.
