Description:
The BEA LZR®-WIDESCAN is a special sensor for use on industrial doors and is based on the time-of-flight principle. It generates 7 tilted laser curtains in front of the door and can monitor a large area through them. The LZR®-WIDESCAN combines 3 functions in one device: door opening, area surveillance and safety.
Properties:
- Offers high protection against bad weather conditions
- Independent of the characteristics of the object (i.e. substance, colour, reflectivity)
- Analyses the size, speed and direction of the object
- Filters cross-traffic and pedestrians
- Three-dimensional flexible adjustable protection field.
