The Orascan from BEA is the first combined radar and laser sensor that has been specially developed for automatic sliding doors and offers both opening and protection functions. This innovative all-in-one sensor solution ensures maximum safety and comfort in a variety of environments – whether in retail, public buildings or companies.

• Combined radar and laser technology: radar technology enables the door to open quickly and energy-efficiently, while time-of-flight laser technology safely detects and secures the entire height, width and depth of the door.
• Easy, compliant installation: With just one push of a button, the Orascan automatically adjusts to the dimensions of the door and positions the laser curtains accordingly. Correct installation is guaranteed even if the floor covering is not yet finished.
• Weatherproof & suitable for all floors: The reliable laser technology is independent of the background and works perfectly with all floor coverings and in extreme weather conditions.
• Versatile & compatible: The Orascan is suitable for a wide range of sliding door types, from large doors to telescoping doors, fire doors and emergency exits. A single sensor kit can cover all functions, from opening to safeguarding during opening and closing.

• Temperature range: -25°C to +55°C, suitable for demanding outdoor conditions.
• Power supply: 12 V - 30 V DC, with a maximum power consumption of < 5W.
• Mounting height: Between 2 m and 3.5 m.
• Bluetooth functionality: For communication and easy configuration via an intuitive app.

App for easy setting & visualisation

With the Orascan Set app, the sensor range can be visualised and sensor settings can be easily adjusted. The app is available for both Android and iOS.
