The BEA 1SAFE is an active infrared sensor with background suppression (triangulation) that is suitable for all door types. With a detection field of 35 × 70 mm at an installation height of 2.20 m, the 1SAFE offers precise and concentrated coverage. This sensor is ideal for opening, securing or monitoring doors and ensures reliable safety and convenience.

The BEA 1SAFE is characterised by its ability to track and record the evolution of its background and surroundings, ensuring high reliability and precision in door monitoring. It provides protection for various door types: Linear sliding doors it safeguards when opening and prevents crushing hazards, revolving doors and swing doors it protects against terminal block or crushing hazards when closing, and on revolving doors it safeguards the main closing edge where no other monitoring is possible.
Thanks to its narrow detection field, the 1SAFE is ideal as an alternative to push plates and can also open automatic doors in narrow detection zones, such as in restaurant kitchens or in the interior doors of trains. For the most common applications and installation heights, the detection zone can be adjusted in automatic mode at the simple press of a button. In addition, the manual mode allows precise adjustment of the detection zone for special applications such as large installation heights, reflective floor coverings or horizontal applications using adjustment screws and DIP switches.
