What does "doorautomation24" stand for, Mr. Quaiser?

Andre Quaiser: doorautomation24 is a B2B online shop for all accessories pertaining to industrial doors. Our focus is on the electrical components such as drives, controls, sensors, radio transmission systems and all types of push buttons, hence the name "doorautomation".

And where does the "24" come from?

Martin Weber: Order processing is handled via our online shop. The customer can order 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, regardless of opening hours, weekends or public holidays. With our intelligent search or property filter, all products are easy to find. Of course you can also order by email, fax or by phone.
Andre Quaiser: Orders are automatically forwarded to our logistics partner, so we can ensure that all stocked products are shipped the same day - if ordered before 10am.

Mr. Weber, what are the advantages of doorautomation24?

Martin Weber: We offer a full range of products for our customers. Not only do we offer the electrical components - as mentioned by Mr Quaiser - but we also have a wide range of mechanical spare and wear parts. We cooperate with well-known manufacturers; including, for example, Novoferm, GfA, Fraba Vitector, BEA, Orion, JCM, Feig and many others. We are independent and do not belong to any big group (laughs). Therefore, we can offer manufacturer-independent support. No matter which controller you would like to combine with which sensor, we will be happy to advise you and we will not only help you with the right product selection for your project, but will also gladly answer all your questions about assembly and commissioning.
Andre Quaiser: Operating instructions, assembly instructions, drawings etc. can be found in our online shop. We don’t just look at the individual product, but offer our customers cross-product instructions. If any questions arise, we are ready to help by phone. Together we have worked for about 15 years at a manufacturer in the door industry. Therefore we know all common types of doors and drive systems, but we also know what our customers are concerned about.

Who is your service offering aimed at?

Andre Quaiser: Our customers are installation and service companies. No construction site is like the other. Therefore, our customers appreciate that we have the right spare parts for many well-known types of doors in stock. Everything comes from one source and the products can be easily found through our modern shop system. That's why our clients can focus on what they do best, installing and maintaining doors without having to spend a long time with a complicated sourcing process.
Martin Weber: And for especially long days on the construction site, we are available by phone until 6 pm. Orders can be placed online at any time, even on a mobile or tablet on the couch at home. Andre Quaiser: We also supply small to medium door manufacturers who benefit from our favorable terms and value our quick delivery times.

What are your ideas for the future?

Martin Weber: We want to expand our shop into a portal pertaining to industrial doors, where our customers find all the information bundled in one place. Doors are becoming ever more complex. On the one hand technically, on the other hand due to constantly developing standards. We have led product development projects ourselves, worked in various standardization bodies and know how complicated and sometimes non-transparent the current requirements are. We therefore want to provide our customers with a platform that allows easy entry of the doors data and which then provides a compatible product selection. Once we can offer that, our customers no longer have to deal with the details and specifications of the individual products.
