The RL 50 photo eye from Hormann is a reliable and robust safety solution for a wide range of applications. It combines a transmitter/receiver module with a high-performance reflector and offers the following outstanding features:
- Test function: The photo eye function is checked by the control before each downward movement.
- Connection options: The connection is made via the Hormann system line.
- Compact design: With dimensions of 45 × 86 × 39 mm (W × H × D), the photo eye can be integrated in a space-saving manner.
- High protection class: Thanks to protection class IP 65, it is optimally protected against dust and water, making it ideal for use in demanding environments.
- Reflector range, coverage: A standard range of up to 8 m is covered with a 30 × 60 mm (W × H) reflector. For larger distances, an optional reflector with a diameter of 80 mm and a range of up to 12 m is available.
- Optional weather protection hood: A weather protection hood is available for additional protection (not shown).
- Anti-fogging coating: A special coating ensures reliable operation even in challenging weather conditions.
