D+H WRS-S Wind and Rain Sensor 24 V
The D+H WRS-S is a combined wind and rain sensor for weather-dependent control of ventilation dampers in conjunction with D+H control units and 24 V DC systems. It monitors both precipitation and wind speed and facilitates the automatic closure of connected ventilation elements in the event of adverse weather conditions.
The wind activation threshold can be set via DIP switches within a range of 1 m/s to 30 m/s. The rain signal is stored for approx. 5 minutes, as is the wind signal. This prevents erratic opening and closing during sudden changes in weather.
The heated sensor surface ensures reliable rain detection. With its compact plastic housing and IP44 protection rating, the WRS-S is ideally suited for automatic, weather-dependent ventilation control.
