Description:

The KABUTO area scanner from HOTRON combines a radar motion detector and an active-IR-presence detector in one device. This enables it to be used for opening doors, as well as to detect objects and vehicles in the area designated for presence detection.
The KABUTO was designed to operate in industrial conditions. With robust housing and a flexible mounting bracket for wall or ceiling installation, it is ideally suited for activating and monitoring industrial doors. Its anti-vibration technology prevents the sensor from detecting door vibrations.
The KABUTO can be configured to detect only vehicle traffic, so pedestrians are obliged to use an alternative door. The presence timer can be set up so that the door doesn’t automatically close, preventing objects from getting damaged in the open doorway.
With an intelligent cross-traffic filter, unwanted door movements are prevented, and the direction-sensitive detection technology reduces the opening times of doors. Besides this, the detection area of the KABUTO can be adjusted exactly to specific installation requirements.
The intuitive remote control enables the sensor settings to be configured easily from the ground.
