Product description:
The EasyLoop D from BBC Bircher Smart Access is a radar-based vehicle detection sensor for activation and presence detection at automatic barrier and gate systems. As a virtual loop sensor, it replaces traditional induction loops and enables contactless, above-ground installation without structural alterations.
The 79 GHz FMCW radar technology used enables precise detection of vehicles and reliable differentiation between vehicles, pedestrians and static objects. The sensor can be used as a Type D device in accordance with EN 12453.
The sensor operates independently of lighting conditions and delivers stable detection results even in rain, snow, fog or dust. Thanks to configurable detection ranges, uni- or bidirectional detection and app-based parameterisation, the EasyLoop can be flexibly adapted to various applications such as parking systems, toll stations or industrial facilities.
